Expressions

Another great post by John K, remember I posted a link before about character designs? This is the same guy, now talking about expressions, really useful stuff

I love when emotions are done really subtly, the untrained eye would miss that he is shocked in this scene

    lol, yeah very subtle :D Haha
    This is why I love toons, because there are no rules, as long as it works it's good

    yeah and it works because these old guys were awesome, like you probably wouldnt think to make this character have such a zany expression unless you knew the fundamentals, I wouldnt think of this stuff anyway
